Public Health Dental Mission - Mahajanga 2005A seven-member team of health professionals from the United States Air Force, Army and Public Health Service were in Madagascar to provide educational training and medical/dental services. The US Pacific Command sponsored the mission. The team was led by Capt Jason Deese and LtCol Mylene Huynh from Det 2, 13th Air Force, Hickam AFB Hawaii.

Public Health Dental Mission - Mahajanga 2005The team traveled to Mahajunga and taught classes to National Dental University studentsat the University of Mahajanga as well as to the Malagasy Red Cross. They also visited the villages of Ambovoalandy and Ambovodramasy, where they provided direct medical and dental care services to more than 500 patients.
