Illness: Please see the State Department website for medical information for Americans traveling overseas. Please note that Medicaid/Medicare does not apply outside the United States, and your private medical insurance may also impose limits or not apply overseas.

Check with your medical insurance provider to determine whether it will provide coverage outside the United States.
