U.S. Citizens Registering for the Warden System in Madagascar

• Who should register?

• Why should I register?

There are several reasons to register.

• If your family in the United States is trying to contact you with emergency information, the Warden System will allow us to contact you to inform you of the situation.
• If there is a natural disaster, political instability, or any other situation that could endanger the safety of Americans in Madagascar, we will be able to warn you of the situation and offer you advice as to how to stay safe.
• If you have a medical emergency or problems with local authorities, your warden registration provides us with information that can be help us to help you.

• How do I register?

• Come to the U.S. Embassy in person during our regular business hours. Bring your passport to the Consular Section so that we can make a photocopy of it. Fill out a warden registration form.
• Print out the warden registration form. Fill it out completely. Send the form along with a copy of your passport personal data page and photo page to: U.S. Embassy, Consular Section, 14-16 rue Rainitovo, B.P. 620, Antsahavola, Antananarivo, 101
• Register online using the Internet Based Registration System (IBRS)
